Why Micro Matters

Missouri’s microbusiness licenses are designed to create a path to facility ownership for people who might not otherwise have that opportunity. Majority owners must meet the program’s eligibility requirements.

Two license types, one closed loop.

The program includes dispensary and wholesale licenses. Micro-dispensaries may buy only from micro wholesale facilities or other micro-dispensaries, and nothing moves to or from medical or comprehensive facilities. The two halves depend on each other.

The word “micro” tells you which licensing category a record belongs to. It is not a quality rating, an ownership verification or proof that a business is open.
